The last Days Of Berlin was mostly set in Holland but being back in Berlin I have enough news to show you! And get ready for a little bit view into Leipzig.
It was Joppe’s birthday at the end of March and we had four friends visiting us from The Netherlands. We didn’t only celebrated his birthday but also went to a couple of concerts (John Coffey, hej!) and parties during that weekend.
I’ll leave the rest of the party pictures up to your imagination ;)
A couple of weekends later, my mum and sister came by and we visited the abandoned Beelitz and had a tour through Tempelhof.

March and April were, as they used to be, filled with concerts, to start of with Lagwagon in SO36
followed by While She Sleeps (best.band.ever) in Lido
and last but not least a special showcase of Apocalyptica
Even more to celebrate: our 5-year anniversary!
We didn’t really go for a romantic meal because we had the While She Sleep-gig that night but enjoyed some Vietnamese/Thai (I have no idea anymore!) food at Green Bamboo.

In April we decided to visit Leipzig, a city that looked like a small version of Berlin, so much history, nice hotspots and street art.
Talking about street art, these beauties are back in Berlin!
Sometimes, like once in a blue moon, we like to stroll through parts of the city we haven’t been in so often. This time we went to Neukölln
Marjolein and I had dinner, just a few days before her official book release, at Santa Maria.

The 1st of May is a big holiday in Germany and Berlin has the most amazing festival during that day: MyFest in Kreuzberg.
Together with Marjolein, Kees and Emma we walked around for a bit..
rented a cabrio
.. and drove to Bornholmer Straße to see some of the spring blossom that covers Berlin around this time of year.
Afterwards Marjolein and I decided that it still wasn’t enough (really that girl has energy as if she is about to run a marathon) and we went to the Gallery Weekend. We came across this bizarre location, an old factory, combined with newly renovated studios of Berliner artists.
