At the moment the weather is really, really shitty in Berlin. It’s raining as if the sun will never shine again. Thankfully we were able to find some dry moments to walk around our new city and explore our new area and enjoy everything goods that Berlin has to offer.
Berlin is more than just Alexanderplatz, Friedrichshain or Prenzlauerberg. Besides the well known areas inside the ringbahn, there are lot of places that still belong to Berlin but that don’t give you the feeling that you are in Berlin. Such an area is Köpenick. It feels like holiday when you walk around, as if you just visited a small town nearby.
What’s he building in there?
After our visit to Köpenick, we finally had some time to see Tempelhofer Feld. This big park used to be an old airport, something you can still see thanks to the airstrips and signs located everywhere on the field.
One of my favourite things about Berlin is the street art you see everywhere.
