The day was far from perfect. We had so many plans to go on a new abandoned adventure in Eberswalde, but because it was Sunday it was quite hard to get to our destination. And when we finally arrived there was no way we could get in thanks to a big dog and its owner walking around the territory.

At that moment there weren’t a lot of alternatives besides the children’s hospital in Weißensee, also known as Zombie Hospital.

Thank heavens the children’s hospital was less Zombie Hospital as one might suspect after hearing its nickname. Marjolein and I jumped across the small fence (which in reality was a bit harder than it seems, don’t wear dresses to abandoned adventures Eva.. just don’t!) and there we went.

In comparison to Beelitz-Heilstätten is this Zombie Hospital totally devastated. If you didn’t know you’d have no idea that it used to be an old hospital. Most of the rooms were decorated with newly added street art from Original, flowers, cupcakes, carrots, lightning bolts, it couldn’t be more random. Good thing that we didn’t went for the history of the place but for the fresh art on the walls.

What’s your favourite room?
